What Does Smoke Weigh?

A dazed & confused inquiry into The Law of Conservation of Mass.

If we had a blunt wrap that weighed 1 gram filled with 2 grams of cannabis.

That is a 3 gram blunt shared between the two of us,

And then afterward -

If we could gather all the smoke back from the air to get the weight of this,

Plus also the total weight of the roach and the ashes,

Plus finally any resins that might be found inside the lungs and on the lips and fingertips.

This would all in fact add up to the first 3 exact grams that our-not-yet-smoked blunt was.

Likewise - 

The thing that exploded at the Big Bang was the Primordial Atom.

It wasn’t called that at that time but that is what we later named it.

If that Primordial Atom weighed 10 zillion pounds back at the time of its Big Bang,

The whole universe still in fact weighs that same 10 exact zillion pounds right now.
