Speed of Light Motorcycle

Warning to the pedantics that might gag. This thought experiment breaks the special law.

If you found yourself suddenly able to take a motorcycle ride in deep dark outer space,

With your headlight piercing darkness with its long 'n' narrow bright beam to the horizon,

And if your motorcycle was able to break physical law and travel at the speed of light,

You'd never be able to catch up to the chin at the long 'n' narrow bright beam's front end,

Because you'd both now be traveling at the same exact universal max-possible lightspeed,

So your distance from behind it would remain as fixed as an affixed carrot,

But if you were to find a button that said 'faster-than-light' and were to push it,

You'd finally start to see the front end of the long 'n' narrow bright beam off in the distance,

And before you knew it you'd be fast catching up to it,

You'd be fast approaching it til suddenly yesterday you were able to catch up to and pass it,

Finally,

Your headlight's bulb was able to slurp its long 'n' narrow bright beam all the way back in,

Like a long piece of spaghetti.
